Bonding
Restore worn or chipped teeth and fill gaps between teeth.
The problem:
• Unsightly gaps between front teeth
• Slightly worn or chipped teeth
• Uneven or jagged edges on front teeth
• Stained teeth
The solution:
Composite Resin (CR) bonding is a white, tooth colored restorative material to
match your teeth. It is applied to your teeth and sculpted to veneer or
restore the problem area. CR forms a mechanical- cemical bond to the surface
your teeth. It is "cured" or hardened with a blue Laser-like light.
Advantages:
Less expensive than porcelain veneers, can be completed in day one, customized
in the office, offers a natural, beautiful improvement in your smile.
Disadvantages:
Absorbs stains, dulls and wears over time, has limitations, not as strong compared
to porcelain.
